Taming the Wilderness

Combine a team building session with the opportunity to do some worthwhile community/environment work and see immediate and long term results. Just a few hours can make a huge difference.

Waiheke has some wonderful reserves that need your help to make that difference.  Get your company name on our Wall of Friends. Depending on the season, you could be weeding, planting, or mulching in a beautiful environment - trees and tools provided.  The best times for this sort of project - autumn, winter and spring.

 

Your Day on Waiheke

Enjoy your 35 minute cruise on the Hauraki Gulf with Fullers ferry to Waiheke Island. On arrival you are met by Staff from Waiheke Weedbusters and transferred to your 'project' area amongst the stunning environment of a Waiheke Reserve and wildlife area.  Enjoy 2 hours of planting, weeding, mulching and then celebrate the wonderful work you have achieved with a sausage sizzle (or optional lunch at a local restaurant).  You are then transferred to Wild on Waiheke where you will enjoy an afternoon of fun team building and end with a well deserved beer and wine tasting before being returned to the ferry.  Cost  - $88 pp and includes everything listed above (price excludes GST and based on min.10 pax).
